On this one, I combined a couple of different patterns. I used this cup cozy pattern, just using the cozy part of the instructions of course. And, I used this Cat in the Hat Applique Pattern.
Cup Cozy
(Again, originally found here, just wrote out the cozy part of the pattern)
Use a size G hook and size 4 worsted yarn in Black.
Chain 13
Row 1: SC in second chain from hook and in each across, Chain 1, turn (12 SC)
Row 2: SC in BACK LOOPS ONLY of each across, Chain 1, turn (12 SC)
Row 3-End: Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 8” long.
Finishing: Slip st, working through top of last row and remaining loop of row of foundation chains, slip st in each across. Finish off.
Cat in the Hat Applique
(Again, originally found here, & edited to make it look better)
Use a size E hook and size 4 worsted yarn in Red & White.Row 1 (in White): Chain 11, SC in second chain from hook & in the next 8, (SC, slip st) in last, turn, slip st in first 3 (10 SC)
Row 2 (in Red): Chain 2, HDC in same as joining and next 5 (6 HDC)
Row 3 (in White): Chain 2, turn, HDC in each across (6 HDC)
Row 4 (in Red): Chain 2, turn, HDC in each across (6 HDC)
Row 5 (in White): Chain 2, turn, HDC in each across (6 HDC)
Row 6 (in Red): Chain 2, turn, HDC in each across (6 HDC)
Finish off, leaving long tail for sewing onto cozy.
