I got the pattern for free online here. So, I DO NOT claim this pattern as my own. I also have corrected it a little to make it look a little better. Enjoy!
Cowboy Boots
Material: Worsted yarn in Brown and in Gold
Hooks: F hook for 3 1/2" sole (appx. 0-3 months), G hook for 4 1/2" sole (appx. 3-6 months), or the large directions that are in parenthesis with G hook for 5" sole (appx. 9-12 months)
ch=chain
sc=single crochet
sl st= slip stitch
hdc=half double crochet
Sole
Round 1: With Brown, ch 12 (14), sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 7 (9), hdc in next, 2 hdc in next, 5 hdc in end ch. Now, working down opposite side of stitches, 2 hdc in next ch, hdc in next, sc in next 7 (9), 2 sc in next
Round 2: 2 sc in first sc of last round, sc in next 10 (12, (2 sc in next, sc in next) 3 times, sc in next 9 (11), 2 sc in next, sc in next
Round 3: 2 sc in next, sc in next 11 (13), (2 sc in next, sc in next) twice, (sc in next, 2 sc in next) twice, sc in next 11 (13), 2 sc in next, sc in next, sl st in first sc of round, ch 1, turn
Round 4: Working in back loops only: sc in each stitch around, sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
Boot
Round 5: Find the center stitch of the heel of the sole (should be where you left off), and center 12 sc stitches in brown. Fasten off.
Round 6: Join Gold yarn in middle of last round (at the middle point of the heel), sc in each stitch around
Round 7: sc in next 14 (16), skip next, hdc in next, skip next, dc in next 2, dc next 2 stitches together, dc in next 2, skip next, hdc in next, skip next, sc in next 13 (15)
Round 8: sc in next13 (15), skip next, sc in next, skip next, sc in next 3, skip next, sc in next, skip next, sc in next 12 (14)
Round 9: sc in next 12 (14), (skip next, sc in next) 4 times, sc in next 10 (12)
Round 10: sc in next 6 (7), sl st in next 5 (6), skip next, sc in next 3, skip next, sl st in next 5 (6), sc in next 5 (6), sc in first stitch of round. Fasten off.
Round 11: With Brown, and working in back loops only: join yarn on stitch that you left off on, sc in joining stitch and in next 10 (12), skip next, sc in next 2, skip next, sc in next 9 (11)
Round 12: sc in next 22 (for largest size, 24 sc, skipping 2 stitches somewhere at toe)
Rounds 13 & 14: sc in each sc around
Round 15: 2 sc in next, sc in next 11 (12), 2 sc in next, sc in 9 (10), sc in first sc of round
Rounds 16-18: sc in next 24
Round 19: sc in next 4 (5), hdc in next, skip next, dc in next, 4 dc in next, dc in next, skip next, hdc in next, sc in next 5 (6), hdc in next, skip next, dc in next, 4 dc in next, dc in next, skip next, hdc in next, sc in next, sl st in first stitch of round. Fasten off.
Edging
Round 20: With Gold yarn: join in same stitch you finished on, sc in that stitch and each stitch around....with 2 sc in the second dc of each of the 4 dc groups from last round.
Round 21: Skip first sc of last round, sc in each stitch....with 2 sc in second sc of each of the 2 sc groups from the last round. Fasten off.
Decoration on Front
Row 1: With Gold yarn: ch 4, sc in second ch from hook and in next 2 ch, ch 1, turn
Rows 2-3: sc in each 3 stitches across, ch 1 turn
Row 4: (sc, hdc) in first stitch, 3 dc in next, (hdc, sc) in last stitch. Fasten off, leaving a long end to sew onto boot.
Decorations on Sides (make 2)
With Gold: ch 25 (30). Fasten off, leaving a long end to sew onto boot.
Finishing
Use picture as a guide and sew decorations onto boot. Now you're ready to make your other boot!
